Bucky sighs heavily, taking a half-step back, even though he doesn't really have anywhere to go. "Grabbing you by the neck and taking you into the river with me," he replies with a frown. "After crashing that helicopter into you. Where do you think I got the cut?" he gestures at his head, as if Steve was supposed to understand, to not remember anything past that point, either. "What the hell happened? Did you freeze me?" His face twists with confusion, because surely Steve would never do that to him, not unless there was no other choice...

But he had just fought his way out of a UN building. And fought almost a quarter of the Avengers in the process. Maybe Steve didn't even do it, maybe someone else, like Hydra. The thought makes his stomach churn.
