"I would never regret spending time with you. Even if the picture doesn't turn out well. This is a memory and memories are precious." She smiled up at him and then quickly returned to sketching as if she'd nearly forgotten what she was doing. His smile was nice and when she got to his mouth she drew him smiling a little more than he was.
"There. It is rough and I want to finish it but what do you think." She turned over the sketchpad and let him see the rough pencil outline of him and his smile.
On the Train
"Just... a little... bit... more..."
It took her about twenty minutes to get a good sketch of his head down on the paper. She stopped a few times, stared at it and then stared up at him. Naminé was taking a very close look at his face before looking back at the picture, erasing and then drawing a bit more.
"There. It is rough and I want to finish it but what do you think." She turned over the sketchpad and let him see the rough pencil outline of him and his smile.
