Who: Luke and anyone passing by.
What: Luke's had it rough; missing his dad terribly, and now really, really bad dreams.
When: Early morning of Egret 6
Where: Dining car kitchen
Warnings: Mentions of past trauma and mass murder and reacting to it.
Since the last visit to the train platform, Luke had been quiet and withdrawn. He knew the spider teens had thrown a party, was aware he had new people to worry about, but he couldn't really bring himself to participate or interact with any of it. His mind was too caught up on the sight of his father, walking away and not responding to his calls. He hand just stood there, staring as he disappeared into the mist, a feeling of overwhelming loneliness aching in his chest, and in the time that passed, he hadn't been able to pull himself out of it.
And then last night, things got worse.
Even now, the sight of fire consuming everything lingered in the back of his mind, the pulse of energy going through an entire planet and then... screaming. So much screaming. Just like...
He had been trying to focus on cooking -- Luke had been looking forward to Purple's chance at the kitchens, and it was something like comfort -- but with a lurch in his stomach, he remembered. He remembered vague visions of people he didn't know, seeing a green beam of light piercing a cloudless sky, a rumble of the earth and... death. So much death, all at once... all the screams, loud, piercing through his mind, and...
His stomach twisted violently at the memory of what he felt with Alderaan died, and he just managed to drop what he was doing and get to the sink before he threw up.
