Well that was one of the most unusual reactions to spotting him he'd had so far. It was usually fear or a very unimpressed expression that hid a person's revulsion to his appearance. Not joy and then fear.

Garrett watched her move back outside onto the platform. He debated for a moment. Well, they say curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought him back and besides he was a spider, not a cat. He crawled across the ceiling towards the exit door and peeked outside. He spotted her stuck on this side of the small crowd near the train and just. watched her.

Maybe debated calling out and reassuring her he wasn't a bad monster. Especially not while stuck on this train. But he wasn't the best at conversation and he seemed really content to stay on the ceiling of the train instead of moving outside. Instead, he merely tilted his head at her curiously.
