Ignis wasn't going. He wasn't talking. Gladio was starting to get angry again. But just as it had the last time it faded away to be replaced by an ache in his chest. Was this his fault? Had he done something wrong? Why was Ignis being like this? He'd thought things were better between the two of them, had he been wrong?
He suddenly had a longing for Prompto. A wish the blonde would show up like some miracle and save him from this hell. But Gladio knew how selfish that was. It wasn't up to Prompto to come and save him from every socially awkward situation he found himself in. It wasn't Prompto's job to save him from himself... And yet he still wished for him to be there.
Gladio pulled in a breath to tell Ignis to just get the fuck out already. He was done.
But before he could say a thing arms went around him. And Gladio froze. He tensed. When had Ignis moved to get in front of him? When had he gotten into a position where he could hug? Damn, he'd not been paying attention... Why the hell was he being hugged though? Ignis still wasn't saying a thing and it was driving him insane. Gladio had half a mind to push Ignis away and tell him where he could shove his hugs. But that would have required energy that he just didn't have. So he just shut up as well. He closed his eyes and slumped forward and just... gave up. What was the point in fighting?
