Who: Gladio and... anyone! If someone from Blue Team wants to come assist, they can!
What: Gladio has a mission. And is bored. So bored.
When: Egret 19, dawn. Or as dawn as you can get. And will be going on almost all day till he gets to the cabins.
Where: Currently the dining car. But he will be everywhere!
Warnings: Just a bunch of silliness, really! ^^ Gladio has only one working arm currently so this should be highly amusing. Come help him, chat to him, judge him as you pass by, whatever floats your goat.

Gladio was no stranger to getting down and dirty with the troops. His father had taught him well. Just because he was the Kings Shield didn't put him above others, he needed to do his part to the cause, so to speak.

Which was why, when the Shield discovered that his 'Team' had chores to do, he found himself in the store carriage picking through the cleaning supplies to get a start on doing just that. What else did he have to do, exactly?

After picking through the cleaning products that he would need, Gladio headed for the next carriage. For now he was only going to clean the common areas, without having permission from the other passengers he wasn't about to go barging into bedrooms demanding they get the hell out so he can tidy up their mess. No, he would start from one end and work his way through. The dining carriage was his first port of call. He had polish and cloths for tables and chairs and anything else he could find that undoubtedly had layers of dust. The kitchen he bypassed and up he went, armed and ready to do battle with dust bunnies and coffee rings.

The fact he only had one usable arm did not deter him. He didn't really need two to clean, right?

"Even my little legs might be worth stretching, huh?" In fact they were a bit long for her height - probably a sign that she wasn't done growing? "But the cleaning is already quite extensive."

"The cleaning is a lot..." He agreed with a sigh. "Especially for two people. We should have gotten more of the team to help." Though that would be a little like herding cats, Gladio thought.

"We might have to leave some of it for others. Work in shifts or... somesuch." Not like she's an expert on cleaning - she just goes to work and gets things done.

Gladio chuckled and cast Ple Two an amused look. "Good idea. Would anyone listen though?" Because who wanted to do chores really? Especially the boring ones. Especially ones that meant cleaning up other people's messes.

With renewed vigour, Gladio went back to work cleaning. Well, as best he could one handed. But with Ple Two he knew they could get it done. "It's down to us, kiddo. You and me vs the dust bunnies."

"I can get Madoka to help, at least." ...just by asking herself, if nothing else, you know. "Some other time."

He laughed. "Don't doubt she'd help." Gladio agreed easily. "I think she does more than her fair share though. And everyone elses share. She deserves a break now and again."

"I should do something nice for her." Just because Madoka's her friend, too, though. "And bully someone else into picking up more slack."

Who, exactly, can she bully?

"One of the reasons I'm doing this now before she gets around to it." Gladio replied. As for who she could bully, he wasn't sure. If he was really honest he had no idea who on their team was actually doing their job and handling chores. He'd just wanted to make himself useful and do his part.

"For doing something nice. You could do anything. She doesn't expect nice things happening to her." Gladio continued, he sprayed more polish onto the wooden surfaces.

Ple Two might need to do a survey of that. More useful than a five foot nothing kid trying to threaten people, right?

"You're nice too." If he was trying to lighten Madoka's load, certainly. "...she's good. So good things should happen to her."

"Make her a hot chocolate." Gladio said then and grinned over at Ple Two. "Then sit with her with no expectations of her, she'll love it."

"Just don't do what I do." He continued with a laugh. "You wouldn't say I was nice then..."

"Hot chocolate seems popular here." Or maybe that was just a few smiling faces pushing it into peoples' hands. "...and I've done some unkind things as well."

"Hm? No, not unkind... But I tease her." Gladio laughed. "She doesn't like being called Miss Madoka. I'm in a battle of wills with her. When she stops calling me mister, I'll stop calling her miss." He glanced back toward Ple Two then. "... I'll bet for every unkind thing you've done there's a dozen nice ones she holds close to her heart."

"Aha." That's more of a 'big brother' sort of atmosphere, isn't it? "She is quite formal, isn't she?" Perhaps just a matter of upbringing, but she's had good manners from the start.

Ple Two couldn't help smiling a little at the reassurance. She... did really like Ple Two. Even if she was a dangerous, terrible weapon of a human being.

"Very formal. It's cute. But one day I'll out-formal her." And he would win. He had a little sister of his own, he had infinite amounts of patience when he wanted to get his own way.

Gladio caught the smile and had to grin. She was cute herself when she smiled like that. It suited her. Though he didn't say anything in case it made Ple Two stop.

Ple Two would absolutely catch herself and turn extra dour if he pointed it out. So enjoy it while you can.

"You've got the patience of an adult, of course." Even Madoka's stubborn kindness wouldn't really work when it wasn't about being nice.

"That's one way of looking at it." Gladio was amused. It was funny, he didn't always think of himself as 'adult'. He was just who he was, regardless of age. But he supposed to someone much younger it would make sense to think in terms of child and adult.

"So why don't you go do it?" He suggested then. "I can finish up here. Go find Madoka and give her a break from whatever she's doing."

Anyone from about eighteen on up certainly looked like an adult to her. Not that age really made it - she was probably more mature than Peter in a lot of ways, right?

"I-I suppose I could. We've made enough progress." ...and she was even learning to accept an excuse to stop doing chores, too.

Clearly it was something Ple Two wanted, so Gladio grinned his encouragement. "Sure have. And thanks for the help, kiddo. You deserve a break as well."

"Then... thank you." She was only capable of so much, after all. "And see you around."

"You will." Gladio was still grinning. "Say hi to Madoka for me."
