"Only when I caught them beatin' up on other people," he replies with a little grin. It's a little strained from the pain, but it's genuine.

"Yeah, better to get it over with before I end up making it worse," he nods, heading slowly down the nearly claustrophobic hallways. Normally they didn't bother him, but today he was remembering some of the worst parts of his life. He's just glad it smells different.
