"Oh..." People liked to pet animals, he knew. Especially cute ones. And he knew he made for a very cute cat. And this guy was saying some very nice and flattering things about him.

Maru turned his attention back to the blonde man. Was he glowing? And then he gave a nod. Maybe if he was in his human form it would be very strange for someone to pet him. But as a cat he rather enjoyed it. Sometimes Maru thought he was more cat than vampire, and that was just fine with him.

"You can pet... I won't bite." A joke. Because he's a vampire.

That would have been funny if this strange guy knew that fact.
