It was by far the most heated he'd spoken to her, but this was also Madoka. There was a level of restraint he just didn't have with other people that he was using now. He hadn't called her an idiot, he hadn't sworn (yet). He hadn't even blocked her from getting between him and the furry suspect.

He shook his head unsure what to do here. The change in the boy's posture and then his whole shape going back to cat had him sighing. "Are you being careful? You aren't.." God, he was too mad to think straight. He worried she was changing in front of the cat or being used. He knew he was scaring his daughter and that's not what he wanted to do even if he was scared.
