Tony gave Ignis a hard look. How the hell would he know anything about youth and innocence when he didn't get to experience it nor the boy in his care? Besides, even if he had, he was still far too young to see it from a much older perspective like Tony could. When you were older you didn't (or at least Tony didn't) wish to be young and innocent, you wished for those who were young and innocent to be protected and enjoy that part of their lives. He wanted for Mady that the greatest thing she had to worry about was how to bake a cake right or dealing with boredom around the train. He didn't want her being afraid or thinking about how to save her world.
