Maru paused when he heard someone making a weird clicking sound and turned his head. The guy he'd noticed was saving a bit of food at him like he was an actual cat, when it appeared his own cat was there watching him wave the food around.

But Maru really wanted a cookie. So he continued on and worked the lid off of the jar with his little paws. "I'm okay with this for now..." He said once the lid was off and he was able to tip the jar and reach his little paw in to snag a cookie.

He sat on his butt and happily munched on it then, his tail waving slowly. Yes, this was what he had wanted. He wanted a snack.
