Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

[ Mami returns about an hour late, with a few plates of simple things to replace what was burnt. Lightly toasted sandwiches, a few scones, and a few quick cookies. She's all smiles in her gown with a simple black eye mask. ]

Here. I hope you're all still hungry after your dancing.

[ As a slower song starts playing, Kitty decides it's a good time for a break when she hears a familiar voice. Turning around, she smiles. ]

Oh, thank you.

[ Come to think of it, dancing does work up an appetite. ]

What kind of sandwiches are there?

[ Hopefully something vegetarian-friendly? ]

Oh, all kinds! These have hummus and lettuce, these are cheese, this is bacon because everyone seems to like that....

[Mami breaks out a smile.]

Please help yourself.

Wow, that's a good selection. I've never actually used hummus in a sandwich before.

[ She picks up one of those, and a cheese sandwich just in case. ]

Did you make these yourself?

Yup! Just helping Minako. She's so busy that it's hard to juggle everything!

Yeah, no kidding. I'm impressed she managed to get all of this set up so quickly.

She has so much energy it can make us all dizzy!

But I'm glad. Everyone deserves a break. How have you been settling in?

Pretty good, I think. Still trying to figure out where everything is, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

[ She takes a bite from one of the sandwiches. ]

Oh wow, this is really good.

I'm glad everyone's relaxing. We need it.

[He takes a scone and bites into it.] That is very tasty. Tell me, do you dance as well as you bake?

I don't mind helping. I know Minako really wants a success for all her friends...

[ Mami laughs. ]

I doubt it. I haven't since my old friend used to take me with her...she was really good.

She is a good friend to us all. [He looks at the rest of the food.] And so are you.

You don't have to be good to dance, [his eyes twinkle behind his mask], you just have to have fun!

[ She bows ]

...ah, are you sure that's all right?

[He gives her a courtly bow, extending his hand to her.}

I am miss! [Romeo has found a very cool swishy red and black cloak and a similarly coloured mask. He grins at her through it.]

This little part, yes. Minako tried hard, but she was so busy she couldn't really juggle everything. So I helped her out.

How do you like the party?

That was really nice of you! [He grinned.] It's lots of fun! The food is yummy and the outfits are really fun! [He swished his cloak around happily.]

[ Madoka looks a little surprised. It's not like this is totally unexpected - Mami totally is nice enough to make food for others even when she should be enjoying a party - but it still amazes her all the same. ]

Did you make all of that..? Is that okay? You must not have had time to enjoy the party yet..

I did...and yes, it's fine. I'm not here to date, after all.

[ She can guess what Minako must be planning ]</small It's far more important that you can all enjoy yourselves after dancing. It tires you out, doesn't it?

Ah, well.. [ Madoka almost says she's not here to date either, but.. well, that wouldn't necessarily be true, now would it. Except that she's not here to find a date like the people Minako set up as much as she's here to have a date. By dancing with her girlfriend.

But it still doesn't feel right to just leave Mami on the sidelines by herself. Especially not when she's working this hard for everyone. ]

It does, but it's fun too.. [ Madoka gathers her courage, smiling at the other girl. ] Even if you're not here, you should try it out. Won't you dance with me?

You...want to? That's so sweet, but is that okay with your girlfriend?

[ She looks for the other girl one more time, just in case. ]

[ Madoka looks a little surprised. Instinctively she glances around too before looking back at Mami. The surprise is still there, like Madoka isn't entirely sure why she'd need Ple Two's approval.. (But then again, she's still kind of new to this dating thing.) ]

I don't think she'd mind.. I'm sure she has friends of her own to talk to as well.

[Rapunzel hadn't been overly keen on the clothing of choice for the party so instead had worn something different.

She had been quietly studying the food that had been on offer before she looked over.]

[ The hair doesn't lie. ]

[The hair really does give her away. But she knew she couldn't really do much about it without cutting it, but knowing if she did that what it would mean.]
