Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

"Are you sure, Mrs. Duck?" Alice turned to look towards her. "You look very dignified, Mrs. Duck. I'm quite partial to little petit fours! They're so pretty and so tiny! Like a perfect little bite of sweetness in one mouthful!"

"Then I'll have petit ones through threes." She flashed a grin, trying to pull a pretty bad Mom Joke.

Alice giggled, she liked the joke quite a bit (... she is also seven though and her mother does not "joke.")

"Perhaps we should slice it then to match its size. If we put two together, they shall be petit eights!"

[sos_pilot]

"Hey, if it tricks my stomach into thinking I ate more, I'm all for it. I haven't had these in over a decade." Perfectly fine information to dump on a child.

"Is... that because of your adventure? The one that kept you from your ducklings?"

[sos_pilot]

"Yep." She's already reaching for more grub. "I didn't have regular food for aaaages. And now that I can eat again, I want to try everything and anything!"

"Well, so long as you aren't introduced to it, then there shouldn't be a problem. What... did you live on?"

[sos_pilot]

"Gum." Then she shuddered. "Even worse, it was black-licorice-flavored." The absolute worst!

"I beg your pardon, but did you just say gum, as in, the chewy resin or wax you're not supposed to swallow?"

[sos_pilot]

"Yep." Della inhaled through her nostrils, shuddering as she remembered. "It was made by this 'genius' scientist, so he added some stuff or whatever that kept be alive somehow."

Yes, genius with air-quotes. Stupid Gyro.

Alice doesn't yet understand what air-quotes imply, so she merely tilts her head.

"I've never met a genius scientist before. I'm glad he could save your life, Mrs. Duck, I quite like you."

As much as Della could rant and rave about Gyro, she's certainly not going to turn down a compliment.

"Aw, I like you too! You can just call me Della, if you want."

"But you're older than me, it would be rude... What about Mrs. Della?"

[sos_pilot]

"I wouldn't mind... but if you really gotta, Ms. Della will do just fine."

No husband as far as the audience knows.

"Ms. Della, yes, alright, Ms. Della." Look, Alice can't help her politeness.
