Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

"Oh... Oh!" Wester blushes furiously (it looks adorable), looking away from Minako. They've barely begun figuring themself out as an independent being, what Wester supposed to think of romance! "No- Definitely not." The way Wester says it makes it clear that it's less of a secret crush situation and more of a they've never really thought about it especially in the context of this party situation.

Look! A change of topic! Thank you, Minako! "After everything you've done to organize this thing, I can't really fault you for making a few mistakes while cooking."

"Okay, that's good to know." It means there was potential in the future, right? Sure right now Minako had set the other up with herself, but she didn't even know how that would go and then it's the whole... devoted to Usagi thing that while she isn't here was still a thing.

With those thoughts going through her head she was soon snapped out of it. "Ah... yeah. I think it's more than a few. I should have maybe have asked for help on that one and it seems like some people have done exactly that..." She looked over what had been placed and was admittedly a little grateful for that.

"So... I admit, I don't know you so tell me a tiny bit about yourself? I will of course do the same. It's only fair."

"Hahaha... that's kind of an awkward question." Wester rubs the back of their head. On the one hand, they came to this party to get away from who everyone that thinks they're "Mazaki Anzu" believes they are, and letting too much about themself slip could ruin all of that. On the other... well, they owe Minako for letting giving them the opportunity to do this anyways. So what's the harm.

"I kinda came to get away from what everyone from home who's also here expects me to be, so I don't want to reveal too much about who I am, but..." They snap their fingers. "I'll tell you this: I'm Wester, even though that's not what I'm listed as on the passenger roster. I like dancing a... a lot. You. Probably already figured that out, considering how I've been hogging the floor all night."

Minako tilted her head slightly for a moment. Not wanting to reveal to much because of other people from home being around. She... didn't understand it for the most part. Was it because they were afraid of what the others would think or something?

"Is the reason for avoiding a fear of being rejected or something?" But hey at least they have the dancing thing in common at least.

"I could at least guess that, but hey if you like to dance why not dance. it's what I'[m good at to. Not an expert, but hey for my dreams I need to get good."

"Bingo. I..." They look away, a deep melancholy radiating off them for the barest moment. "I'm not who they think I am. And as much as it hurts to hide myself like this, it's... it's better if I can stay their friend, right?"

Wester shakes their head, their sunshine aura coming back. "Gosh, look at me being such a downer. That's not what this party's about! C'mon, let's dance." They drift towards the dance floor, holding out a hand to Minako.

"But... if they were true friends wouldn't they accept you for whoever you are? A friend shouldn't hate someone just because they aren't what they are used to." Minako felt like her friends would accept her choices in life, like always picking one thing over the other.

"Sometimes having a moment of sadness is normal, we shouldn't have to hide it. I mean the day you find someone being sad with them around would be a good thing."

But while the other mentioned dancing, Minako already moved past the other and instead grabbed the others hand to drag them further on. "Is there a certain style of song you'd prefer because I can change it."

"It's... more complicated than that."

(No it isn't. Wester just thinks it is.)

"But still, thank you. You know, normally I'm the one giving sage advice, so it's nice to be on the receiving end for once." They smile brilliantly, far more genuinely this time, and the bishie sparkle o'meter has officially broken.

"And I'm normally the one to pull people onto the dance floor!" Wester laughs, following Minako and immediately falling into step. "Don't worry, I can dance to anything."

"You don't have to explain how it's complicated, but whatever it is a friend should be able to understand. That is Minako's wise words for the day that isn't about love and romance." She gives a little wink if she could produce her own sparkles she certain would at this moment in time.

"I'm normally the type to want to drag people to things. I mean if you'#ve seen me about you'd know already what I am like." She couldn't help but give a slight laugh before twirling around.

"That's good to know. I can dance decently myself. After all, my dream was to be an idol, so of course, I needed to be able to."

Minako's wink is probably divine retribution for Wester's own completely unknowing yet still utterly shameless flirtation with many of the other teenagers at the dance, because now the shoe's on the other foot and they're the one blushing.

"An idol, huh? You know, you and her would've had a lot to talk about..."

Wait.

Crap.

"Yeah, though who do you mean by her?" She asked tilting her head slightly. "Is there someone you know, or someone on the train you are talking about?"

Whichever it was it had Minako excited to get to know them. After all there weren't really a lot of people she could really talk to about that kind of thing on the train.

But first things first; Dancing. Once she was on the dance floor, Minako's moves were at least for the most part energetic. A lot of energy.

"My..." Other self? Spiritual progenitor? Person whose life they stole? "...sibling," yeah sure that works, "wanted to become a dancer. Do Broadway in America. She's actually the one who taught me to dance! Waaaay better than me at it, too."

Wester matches Minako's energy beat for beat and step for step, going above and beyond any level of skill and enthusiasm they showed on the dance floor before.

If Minako wasn't wearing a dress she probably would be doing some other kind of moves, but she was happy being able to move in what she had and did it well. Moving to the beat perfectly.

After a swirl though she stands moving slightly in place, but it was mostly to talk for a moment.

"Wanted? As in she no longer wants to or can't? Actually, don't answer that." It seemed a little rude of her to ask really and she was back to dancing again. "I myself have plans to become an idol. it's not broadway in America, but they can sing and dance too."

"...she can't. Not anymore. It's kind of my fault, really."

Great. Now they've made themselves depressed again for the umpteenth time this party. Nice going, Wester, really bringing up the mood here.

Minako soon stopped for a moment. "Are you having one of those self blame things thinking you could have done something different but in reality, there really was nothing you could do?"
