Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

Maru slowly shook his head. No, he had no idea. He didn't even know who this guy was to have been brought to sit with him. But Madoka had told him he had to get involved and meet people. And this guy looked like people. So maybe?

"Dunno. Some meet and greet I suppose?" As far as he could tell anyway. So far the energetic blonde girl had brought people in and dumped them at tables and, luckily, so far most had looked as awkward as he felt.

He looked back at the one opposite him. "I'm Maru."

"Oh, to get people who don't know each other yet talking?" He could roll with that. It seemed like a good idea, and hey, he didn't know Maru five minutes ago, and now he did! So it was clearly working. Sven reached across the table, offering out a friendly hand for Maru to shake.

"Nice to meet you, Maru! I'm Sven. Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself, if we're supposed to be getting to know one another and all."

He looked at the hand for a moment before he reached out and took it. There was very little in the way of grip there, but he shook the hand.

The question had him hesitating though. Once bit, twice shy, Maru wasn't sure he wanted to say too much because he knew the reaction he would get. So he slowly pulled his hand back and shoved it under the table. "... I'm just me." He said with a shrug, which wasn't much of a reply, he knew. So Maru sighed. "I'm not good with things like this. I'm nothing special." Trying to think of something interesting he was finding he was coming up blank. "... I'm from earth, I guess? I can turn into a cat. I'm told that's interesting."

He shook Maru's hand warmly, feeling Maru's reluctance. The way the young man withdrew when Sven asked him about himself tugged on his interest. For whatever reason, Maru didn't seemed to lack confidence in himself, but experience had taught Sven that those kinds of people had more beneath the surface than those who loudly bragged about their grand achievements and their bravery.

Sven smiled gently and folded his arms atop the table. "Now, I can't believe that. Not everybody has a daring nature or one big talent, it's true, but people are gifted and unique in lots of small ways. Sometimes you just have to look a little closer to appreciate a person's own special beauty, that's all."

He grinned. "...But yes, I'd say turning into a cat is pretty interesting. I'll bet it's handy when looking for a place to nap."

"I do like naps." It was one of his main hobbies, he supposed. But realised that would make him sound boring. So instead... there was a little puff of blue-grey smoke and Maru vanished. In his place was a little black cat sat on the table.

"Do you like cats?" He asked then. His voice as a cat sounded much younger than his human form somehow.
