Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

It could be...but after saying that I didn't truly know them, they insinuated they've known me for a while. And they used my name so confidently they had to see through the mask.

[ He's confused, but still dancing with a little smile on his face. ]

But I can figure that out another time. I'm here to spend time with you, Yugi.

So basically it is someone you have spoken to. But because of the way this party is there was no way of actually knowing.

[Yugi knew a lot of people here could easily not be figured out, yet someone like him who had something that made him stand out made it a lot easier. But the other was right they were here to spend some time together, so he knew he should focus on that.]

I am sure we have plenty of time. But this party is only for today, so we should make the most of it.

[Yugi's movements at least had gotten a tiny bit better as the song started to end.]

At least no one got hurt. Except for maybe a little bit of my pride. [Said in a joke filled manner as he couldn't help but chuckle.]

[ He smiles as they whirl to a stop, leaning in...before thinking better of it and taking his partner's hand instead.]

I'm not a believer in superstition, but it's said to be an ill omen to kiss a masked partner...

Shall we take this outside?

[When they stopped Yugi paused for a moment, wondering what the other was going to do, at least unit, he took his hand instead.]

I never knew that, but I am more than happy to take this outside to I assume another carriage?

[He held the others hand firmly before moving to leave the dance floor.]

Mm. Let's head back to the rock garden.

[ Kaiba smiles as he holds tight to Yugi's hand, the noise of the party dying away behind them. It's peaceful out here...and once they're alone, he reaches for his own mask. ]

Let's be sure we left with the right person.

[He had nodded slightly as he walked. He figured the rock garden had been picked mostly because it was doubtful there would be much of anyone there at the moment all things considering.

Once they had stopped Yug9i had moved to get his own mask.]

Okay, but I am confident I have the right person. If I don't then I would be ashamed at not knowing my own boyfriend. [He had soon removed his own first, sort of glad to actually have it off.]

Much better.

You'd better be.

[ Kaiba removes his mask with a laugh, eyes bright with mischief as he looks at Yugi. But he pauses to take in the whole picture...and he looks a little flustered. ]

That suit's perfect for you. Matches your hair...and it's refined without crossing the line into ridiculous.

[ And he reaches to smooth his fingers over the front ruffles. Nice. ]

[He looked the other up and down briefly.]

I'm at least glad you like it. I had no idea what I was doing when picking it out.

[He had turned his head away sheepishly for a moment, a little embarrasses about it before looking back.]

But I can at least say you look good.

[ Kaiba preens a little. He can't help it. ]

Only for you, Yugi.

[ He finally leans down for a kiss, pulling Yugi up to meet him. ]

[Yugi gently kissed back, moving to go on his tiptoes if he had to.]

Are you planning on going back after we've spent a little time alone together?

That depends...I'll go back with you if you want, Yugi.

[ He moves to sit on one of the benches so they can more easily talk. ]

But it's so rare I get to be with you without others watching. There's a side of me I'd rather not show the public.

I don't have to be there if you want to go back alone, Seto. But... I was considering going back afterward. The party is fun in its own way after all.

[Plus he was sure that he could actually get better at dancing. Or at least he wanted to try for whenever this was to happen again. But walking over to the bench he went to sit down.]

So it's a side you'll only show to me, huh? [He smiled as he playfully nudged him.]

But it does make me wonder how the other couples manage on the train.

I could go with you. I'm actually enjoying it too.

[ He laughs, pulling Yugi close as soon as he sits. Still getting used to this, but he likes it. ]

Well your roommates tend to chase you out until you end up with me...and I've seen people take over the small booths in the main car. We could try that.

It's good that you are enjoying it too.

[He was happy to lean on him slightly for the time being. He felt happy in the little moments they could get alone. Even if the concept of the reason behind wanting to be was still new.]

They don't chase me out per se. Sometimes I just think it's polite to let them have their alone time together. [Considering it's in a cabin, Yugi is well aware of what he meant by saying that.]

The small booths? I guess we could try that when necessary. I know if given the choice you'd rather we have these private moments. It's why I am always considering ideas of when we can be considering being in an actual relationship is something new for the both of us that we are still getting used to.

[ Kaiba coughs awkwardly, thinking of what that could mean for them later. It's...really good he was asleep that one time with Gladio. ]

I'm not ashamed. I'm not exactly hiding it, and I've let my closer allies know when they ask. Avoiding gossip's just an ingrained habit after all these years.

[ He reaches up to gently brush Yugi's arm and smiles. ]

But we can kiss or hold hands in public. Let's just not get too wild.

No, I know. I've had people tell me you told them, but sometimes private moments are still nice to have. But I promise nothing too scandalous in public. So hand-holding and kisses are perfectly fine.

[Speaking of, he moves to hold the others hand before leaning on him lightly.]

Besides we're still getting used to stuff like this.
