Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

All that little bits of tension, well they don't disappear, but they lessen. Right. She pushes back a big lock of hair and twists the end of it around her finger, all the rest of her tension going into nervously twisting and untwisting it.

"Oh--oh well I'm not very practiced anyways. I've flirted with like two whole people in my life and I'm not even sure one of them could be called flirting." She waves her hands, brushing away the awkwardness. "But I'm flattered, really."

Dang, that kind of charming innocence just adds to her attractiveness! But, no. Della will be good.

"If you don't think it was, then it probably wasn't. It's supposed to be fun for both sides. It's definitely not supposed to make you tear your hair out." Just a bit of gentle teasing.

"We could be friends! Less stress, and I could beat up anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable." Granted, she'd do that anyway, but why not put the offer out there?

Oh! Persephone starts and guiltily untangles her hand from her hair and tucks it behind her back.

"I wasn't tearing my--I!" She sputters and her roses throw out more leaves in her embarrassment. "Gods, I'm sorry, I'm--yes, friends would be lovely. You aren't making me uncomfortable, honest!"

"Easy, Spring Cleaning!" Della says as she puts up her hands, trying to make a placating gesture. "I was only kidding. How about we take a deep breath and start over?"

[springforth]

Her hair curls over her shoulder and she brushes it back with a vague embarrassment. But taking her advice, she breathes in and out.

"You're right, I'm being silly. I don't usually act like this.." One more breath and she changes the subject.

"So--your boys? Has it been long since you've seen them?"

There, a safe topic! More or less.

"I was just with them, before the train decided it needed me." So a couple of days...stretching into a week-ish. "So I better make sure I have plenty of stories to give them when I get back!"

[springforth]

"If it's stories you want, I'm positive the train can give you that." A wry sort of smile comes to her lips as she thinks back over their missions. "Though I hope you get to go back to them soon. I'm sure they miss you."

[sos_pilot]

"Well, unless I can change that on my own, I can't worry about it too much."

Twofold lies - she's going to try and see if she CAN change things and she is going to worry constantly. It's fine.

"But maybe they'll pop up here! And everyone would wanna be their friend immediately!"

[springforth]

"Do you want them to pop up?"

And that's probably rude. But she has to admit, it's strange to imagine wanting to get your kids kidnapped, especially since she's personally been told time doesn't move at home.

"Sorry--I'm just not just used to that...attitude."

[sos_pilot]

"I sure do!" Della replies with a big fat grin. "We're a family of adventurers! Being kidnapped and put on a kooky inter-dimensional train... That's almost a basic Tuesday for the McDuck family!"

[springforth]

"Gods what else do you get caught up in? You've met Zeus and got away unscathed, let alone Selene." It's time for her customary wish that Zeus or Aphrodite never show up to hear what she's said about them. "I've never even met her myself. It's frankly amazing that you consider this another walk in the park after that."

[sos_pilot]

Della let out a small laugh. "Honey, the stories I've got are endless. I'm starting to think I should write them down for all of you guys... maybe then you'd be prepared for whatever comes our way."

[springforth]

"Oh I doubt I'd be prepared. I've read hundreds of books, heard so many stories, it so much different living it. And I've seen things I've never read about. My first mission was on a planet where they fought in space--in the void around the realms. Not this void but, you know." Persephone shakes her head, "Had you been kidnapped before this? Is this really that sort of humdrum or just that it's new and different.

"I've been kidnapped by people," Della admits, glancing around. "Kidnapped by some sort of sentient world-hopping train? That's a new one."
