Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

She gave a small nod. "At least, I believe I'm a human, I'm rather sure I am. I've not been told I'm anything else.... at least, not anything else that wasn't intended to be an insult." Wonderland and the Looking Glass weren't exactly filled with kind people.

"I'm little Alice," she gave a curtsy. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Glorfindel." She tilted her head. "It's a very pretty name. It sounds like Glory and Fiddle put together. Which makes you quite bright and musical... are you, those things I mean?"

"Sometimes it is what we believe that matters most. Now, if you were to tell me you believed yourself to be a cat, I might not believe you, but a human, absolutely." [Ancient elves spaeking in riddles, check.]

"Thank you. I think your name is very pretty too," Glorfindel said. "I do enjoy music a great deal, and I definitely can be bright. Though in my language, my name means 'golden hair.'" He patted his hair to show why.

"Oh, cats are much too clever to forget who they are. It's people who go on and on about finding themselves." That wasn't what that statement meant, but Alice did not realize that.

At the mention of names having meaning, Alice was reminded of her conversation with Humpty Dumpty.

"I really do suppose I'm quite odd, then, if names are supposed to mean something. Alice doesn't mean anything. At least, not that I know of."

"Cats also spend a lot more time meditating," Glorfindel pointed out. "On the other hand, if you want to find yourself, shouldn't you just look in a mirror?"

"Then perhaps it is up to you to make it mean something. So that someday, someone might say to another, 'that is very alice of you,'" he suggested.

"Meditating?" Alice hadn't heard of such a thing before, well, the fact that cats did it. She knew, at least somewhat, what meditating was. "Oh no, looking in a mirror shan't help you find yourself at all. All you've done is found the Looking Glass you! They're quite different you know. For one, they write with the opposite hand you do. And that isn't you at all. Besides, you can't very well sit in front of a mirror all day!"

"The you in the mirror isn't you? That is the first time I had heard that," Glorfindel said. "Though, what you say is true."

He smiled at the last bit. "You wouldn't get much done, that's for sure. I know what I look like, why would I want to stare at someone who isn't me, now that I know he's a different person?" He paused for a moment. "Did the mirror you come to the Train too?"

"They aren't!" she persisted. "They're your twin but identical twins aren't the same person. When you go through the looking glass, they're nowhere to be found, either, if they were you, when you went through, they should merely be on the other side you came from."

She gave a nod at his question.

"Oh yes, mirror me is here, your mirror you is here too. Mirror us's are much like our shadows."

"Even identical twins aren't the same person," Glorfindel agreed.

"Can you interact with your Mirror Self? And...how do we know we aren't the Mirrors and they are the real us?" This opens up a whole different world of questions.
