Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

[ As someone who's used to wearing long, flowing, multi-layered robes, all the clothes on the train are foreign to Wen Ning. For his first foray into something other than the Blue Team uniform, he chooses something that's more along with his usual color scheme, and pairs it with what is perhaps a somewhat ironic mask. He's still uncomfortable, as not only are these clothes entirely new to him, but the concept of a masked party in general is new. It's completely obvious who he is to anyone who knows him or any of the other ancient Chinese people on board, as he gives every new person he meets an elaborate bow.

This particular new person, though, gets his attention because even behind the costume, she looks nothing like anyone Wen Ning has ever seen. He assumes she simply went all out for the sake of the party, and is frankly very impressed. ]

Wow, your costume is amazing!

[ Telli was not familiar with any of the ancient Chinese people on board, but she is charmed by the bow and dips herself into a curtsy, bowing her head as she'd been taught in her youth. ]

Thank you. I wasn't expecting to find anything that would match my skintone as well as this so I snatched it up as soon as I saw it.

[ What is going on here? People aren't just purple. ]

[ She laughed softly at the question. Startling people from different worlds never got old. ]

It is for me. I'm a Twi'lek and our skin tones can range from the typical tans of you humans to greens, blues, and purples.

[ She held out a forearm towards Wen Ning as she continued ]

A Twi'lek? [ He repeats, still somewhat stunned. ] I've never heard of anyone like that before.

[ Watch him put this foot in his mouth in three, two, one... ]

Are you somehow related to frogs? [ It's just, he saw this movie with multicolored frogs. That's about his only frame of reference for any kind of purple person. ]

[ That was NOT at all what Telli had been expecting, and she blinks at him for a moment while she tries to process the question. Once it clicks though, the only thing keeping her from truly being offended was the genuine confusion on Wen Ning's face. ]

I am not. My people evolved on a planet known as Ryloth, and while I don't know what planet humans evolved on I do know it wasn't the same one. We're simply a different species that looks similar to humans in some ways.

[ He nods, only barely understanding what she means by people evolving on different planets. He's only ever known of one planet, and only one area on that one planet. Before finding himself in the void, his world was very small. ]

Still, that's quite amazing. I had no idea people could look so different.

There are quite a few different humanoids in my world, many of whom you'd find to look even stranger than I, but I take it you haven't been exposed to anything other than humans?

Where I come from, there are only humans. Well, and things like monsters and fierce corpses, but they usually can't speak or think for themselves.
