Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

"Oh, well, neither do I. There's really only one person on this train I'm very good friends... well no, that... doesn't sound right. I mean, we are friends, but," she shook her head. "I would very much like to make close friends on this train."

He thought about that some. He guessed people wanted to make friends with others. It had never much concerned him before.

"Madoka says I need to make friends... I'm not sure why." She always looked so sad and concerned when she thought about him on his own. But it didn't always bother him. Then again, when he thought about some of the people he had met so far, he had to admit it was nice to have people who seemed to like him for him... and weren't afraid of him.

"I don't know who Madoka is," though she had heard the name before, though she couldn't recall where. "But I like making friends, I haven't many back home."

[sobothersome]

"Hard to miss her. She's..." He lifted and then dropped a hand to indicate Madoka's height which was maybe around the same height as the blonde girl herself. "... And pink. Very pink." His Eve was the pinkest person he had ever known.

"She likes making friends. She has a lot." Maru was pretty sure she had a lot. They were always being stopped, to the point he generally just slept on her shoulder. Listening to so many people chit-chatting could be so bothersome... He'd get tired.

Alice was surprised that Madoka was 3'8" like her, there weren't that many the same height as her on the train except for the other children. "A pink girl... Oh! Wait no, that's Miss Persephone." Miss Persephone was literally all pink. "How curious that there are two people here that are pink from head to toe!"

At the mention of Madoka having a lot of friends, Alice wondered if she would want another... but he did say she liked making them.

"Would... would you mind terribly making the introductions, sir? I would like to meet her. I would like more friends... if you don't mind?"

Okay, maybe she was taller, but to Maru who was a good foot taller than Madoka, he felt like he towered over her. Just as he did this little blonde.


"Well... maybe not head to toe..." He muttered and idly scratched at his cheek, head tilted as he thought about it. "More... her hair... and eyes... She gives of a pink impression."

He turned then and looked around to maybe try and see if he could find her. "... I could do that." Wouldn't that be a nice change? Maru introducing Madoka to someone. He liked that idea a lot.

Madoka is indeed very pink. Not as pink as Persephone, sure, but just about as pink someone can get before you stop being a regular human being! Which makes it pretty easy to spot her in the crowd of the party too, because there's a girl around - definitely taller than Alice, but still shorter than most of the other people around - talking to someone before saying bye to them.

It's then that she turns her own head from across the carriage, her gaze happening to meet Maru's. She doesn't quite seem to notice Alice yet (the problem when both girls aren't tall enough to see over people..) but she gives the boy a smile and a slight wave anyway from where she's standing, even without realising his intentions.

Alice is by far the shortest of them all, so when Maru turns to look for Madoka and finds her, Alice cannot see above... well... anyone. She even stands on her tippy-toes but to no avail. She looks up at Maru and tilts her head.

"Sir?" she clasps her hands in front of her, unsure of what to do with his trailing off.

Realising that Madoka had noticed him, he lifted his own hand in a small wave before he looked down at the little blonde girl.

"... My friend is over there. If you wanna meet her?" Looking back toward Madoka again he lifted his hand a second time, only this time it was to gesture for her to come to him. Though that was only if she wasn't busy. Not that he could telegraph that in a single hand gesture without knowing sign language. Which he did not.

Thankfully she would make time for Maru regardless of whether she was busy or not. So when Madoka sees that hand gesture calling her over, the girl turns to start making her way through the crowd towards where she can see the blue-haired boy.

It takes a little bit with how crowded the party is, but she smiles up at him once she's close enough.

"Maru, is something wrong? Or did you just want to talk with--.."

Her voice slowly trails off when Madoka spots Alice. At first she looks surprised, then slightly flustered.

"O.. oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there! Hello!"

"How do you do, Miss Madoka!" Alice offered a curtsy in greeting to the older girl. "Your Mr. Maru was just telling me about you. You are a lovely pink!"

Which admittedly, was not a sentence that would likely make sense to Madoka even if it made perfect sense to Alice.

Maru's lips twitched as he tried not to smile when the Little Blonde had mentioned Madoka's pinkness. It was strange being called Mister though. He could have corrected her but he had a feeling it would be the same as trying to get Madoka to stop doing that to people.

"She wanted to meet you." Maru explained now that his Eve was beside him. "Is that alright?"

At least Madoka doesn't look weirded out in the slightest to be called 'miss'.. mostly since it's being done by someone younger than her. That makes sense to her! So her gaze only momentarily slides from the girl to Maru before nodding.

"Of course that's alright!"

How could Madoka ever say no to anyone, let alone such a sweet-looking little girl? She even curtsied, that's so cute!

"It's very nice to meet you," she says to Alice, quickly bowing before uprighting herself again. "And.. um, do you mean my hair..? Thank you, it's always been this way.." She self-consciously touches one of her ponytails, but still offers Alice a smile. "Your hair looks really nice too though, it suits you!"

"It's nice to meet you as well," she curtsied in greeting. "Mr. Maru said you're very fond of making friends, and well... I... don't have many here." Unless she had the adults as friends. She really SHOULD ask how one knows they're friends with adults.

"And yes, you have very lovely hair, Miss Madoka. And thank you," she blushed lightly. She got so few compliments on how she looked.

Maru felt oddly happy, and maybe even a small amount of smug, to have introduced the two after Madoka had been telling him he should make friends. He was getting her to make friends. A twist that not even he had ever imagined would happen.

He looked from one to the other. Pink hair and really, really blonde. His was light blue. He looked around the party and realised... there were a lot more strange hair colours than normal. How had he never noticed that before? Strange.

"You don't..?"

Madoka looks the tiniest bit surprised. Alice seems like such a polite girl for her age! Wouldn't people be lining up to become her friend? At least now Madoka is here to fix this!

"In that case.. of course we can be friends, Alice! I would love that. And.. Maru is already your friend too, right?

She glances between the girl and the boy. That's why he's introducing them, right? Because he made a friend for once! She's so proud of him!

"That means you already have a few!"

"I... well, no," was that really so strange? "There are so many adults on the train... more adults than anyone else." And Alice wasn't sure someone her age could be friends with an adult.

"Are you a friend, Mr. Maru? Would you like to be?" she wanted to be sure.

[sobothersome]

Darn. He hadn't been paying close enough attention. They were both looking at him now... Maru looked between one and the other. Was he a friend? He thought about it for a moment before he turned and knelt down in front of the little blonde. Lifting a hand, he pushed the mask he was wearing up into his hair.

"... Yeah. I'd like that." What did her age matter? His was far beyond what he looked like. Friendship didn't have an age limit, did it? It seemed they were both in a kind of a bind when it came to friends. "If it's okay?"

Ah.. Madoka does understand the younger girl's sentiment a little. It's true that there are a lot of adults around.. but in her mind she's already going over the people closer to her own age, trying to figure out if she could maybe introduce some of them to Alice?

.. But then she's completely distracted when Maru kneels down like that. The way he pushes up his mask like that, and the things he says.. It's so cute! Not to mention so sweet, especially since Alice seems so worried about having little friends. Sure, Maru might not necessarily really be Madoka's pet.. but she can't help but feel the kind of proud pet owner reaction to this display all the same. Maru is just being such a good boy!

Madoka makes sure to stay quiet though, not wanting to interrupt a moment this precious. But she sure is smiling as she watches on.
