Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

Daia's mouth falls agape.

"You died? Are you okay???"

Of... of course he's okay. He's right in front of him, isn't he? Daia lowers his head when he realises just how silly his question is.

"Sorry..."

Daia shakes his head.

"No, not really. The rooms are pretty small. I mean, there's space under the beds, but not a lot. It'd be nice to have my own room someday, but I'm okay living with everybody else, too. It's... something I never had before. It's nice," he smiles.

And with the admittance that slave trade is not an appropriate first date story, he actually feels elated that Glorfindel does call it a date. And he smiles at the offer to meet up later for more stories.

"I'd like that. My favourite color is orange. ...Or blue? They're both pretty."

Daia tries to think of his own question to trade.

"Parties like this, have you been to them before? This is my first time. Well, for the masquerade kind, anyway. The first party I went to here, I'd never heard of before. But it was a lot of fun, too."

He laughs a little, remembering it. Pulling Kaiba to dance with him.

"Oh, yes. I went to the Halls of Waiting for a few years, then was offered the chance to be reborn. A few thousand years later and...here I am," Glorfindel said, glossing over a few things that probably weren't first date material.

"Mm, don't be sorry. It's quite a thing to be told out of the blue," Glorfindel said with a warm smile.

"You could claim a case in the luggage car and keep things there, set up a little diorama, perhaps?" he suggested.

"They are pretty. Are you on one of those teams?" Glorfindel asked. "I am not on the Gold team, as you may have guessed," he said with a laugh. "I'm actually Purple."

"Like this? Do you mean the mingling and dancing, or the blind date part? Because the first, it's been a few centuries," since before Celebrian sailed. "The second, not since Gondolin. But usually I was the one setting people up, not meeting someone myself." It was a Lord's place to provide for the happiness of his people, after all.

"A chance to be reborn..." he lets out in a breath of awe. "That's so cool! Does everyone get that chance?"

Because dying would be a lot less scary if he got that chance, too.

"A diorama?" He wasn't really able to get much close to one, but... Even for a portable theatre device, it was still pretty big. Of course, he hasn't heard of the modern ones before. He just looks confused as he tries to wrap his head around how he could fit and use one here.

Daia lets out a bit of a laugh as he realises one of his favourite colours is, in fact, the team he's on.

"Yea, I'm on orange. I guess that's pretty lucky. Oh, but purple's a pretty colour too! I bet it looks really good on you."

So Glorfindel's been to parties like this - both masquerade and blind date. He can't help but muse a little at how wonderful a life the man before him must lead; especially with a particular part that catches his attention.

"Lord? You're royalty?"

Glorfindel winced. "Well, it's guaranteed for elves. I don't know about on your world," he admitted.

He nodded and held up his hand to indicate a small box. "It's like a world in miniature."

"I like to think so, it goes well with Green and Gold." Glorfindel grinned. His date was also fortunate, it seemed.

"Mm hm," Glorfindel said with a nod. "Is that a problem? I was born into a line of princes. It really wasn't something I had a say in," he said with a wink.

Aw. Daia's envious a little. And it would have been nice to potentially see his parents again. But he's never heard anything of a Vampire coming back from the dead.

Err... not anymore than they already do, anyway.

Daia shakes his head fervently.

"No, it's not a problem at all! I think it's amazing!" A beat. "H-how should I refer to you? Lord? Prince? Majesty? Highness?"
