Error 4639
Day Twenty Two starts as any other day onboard the Voidtrecker Express. The morning announcement and then passengers are free to fall back to sleep or get up and start the day. Breakfast is made. However not so long after the wake up call anyone near an ICP point will see it flash bright white.
A moment later there is a message. It shows on the screens for fifteen minutes and indeed anyone trying to use the ICPs for anything else will have trouble as it seems determined to be all that they can access. Then the screen goes white again. Bold text flashes up.
Error code 4639. Program must end.
The screen goes black and stays black. Every ICP on the train is down. That is not all. When passengers try and speak to each other they will learn that whatever it was that allowed them to understand each other has stopped working.
Hopefully that won't cause too much mayhem...

"I'm glad she has people she can understand," he settles on in the end. Because it's true. His own experience of being the only one to speak his language is a very, very shitty one, and he wouldn't wish that upon either of the other two present here.

"Um... Inigo says that he is glad you have people you understand and um... Misa says we will figure something out." He smiled at them both reassuringly. "Um... Sorry... I know it must be hard for both of you. If you need to speak to anyone I can translate for you..."
He's so often useless so having something he can do, he is determined to help those around him as much as possible.

"We should find something to do. I spoke to Joss a little earlier. Would Inigo like to learn some of my language?"
They could play the cypher again.

The smile on his face, however, remains very strong and genuine when he glances over at Taiki.
"Don't worry about it, Taiki. How could anything be hard as long as we're surrounded by friends, hm?"
no subject
He is only vaguely aware of who Joss is but considering she mentioned him, he thinks Inigo might know him better.
"And Inigo says, how could anything be hard as long as we're surrounded by friends."
He smiles at that. Inigo was always good for seeing the light in situations, despite the fact that in all their travels today they had not found anyone who spoke his language he was still making an attempt to speak and reach out to others.

She pulls out her colored pencils. "Can Inigo draw?" She asks, curious. But she offers the pencil and paper to Inigo. This works much better if no one allows her to draw.

At least he's happily oblivious to any of the thoughts that form in Misa's mind at his usage of the f-word. Instead he just grabs the paper from her with the same smile, already starting to draw something on it before holding it up so both of them can see. It's a smiling face - not quite the emoticon, since Inigo doesn't know those, but it's close enough. It's probably him trying to emphasize the fact that he's fine. (Even though that's only a half truth at best.)
"Does she want us to learn her language like this? By drawing?"
no subject
He translated as he watched them both, it was good that they could at least attempt ways to communicate.

So even with the two of them talking, it seems Inigo doesn't bother to do so for the moment. Mostly since he's busy drawing. He couldn't understand Misa's explanation, but even without it, he can figure out what she's doing here. He's busy drawing a dress too while they talk, and putting the word for it underneath it as well. His handwriting is very neat - maybe neater than expected from someone as puppy-like as Inigo - but obviously the letters are completely foreign.
He holds it up so proudly though. Is this it? Did he do good?
no subject
Taiki can't read either of their words, both Misa and Inigo use letters that are completely foreign to him and his ability to understand only stretches to the spoken word, there are still many words in his own language he can't read, or that he reads wrong, reading them like kanji instead.
He smiles at them both though. "You should say it outloud Inigo, so Misa knows how to pronounce dress in your language."
