She tries to keep the annoyance out of her voice. She wasn't stupid and she was educated, but in the last couple of hours she had come across more words she didn't understand than she ever had.
She focused on the question she could answer. "I do be liking honeycakes." That's a safe answer at least, "And climbing and reading." Sometimes, when the books were interesting.
