Honestly, this is 100% the reaction Inigo would have gotten from most of his group of friends back home.

And yet he's gotten so used to the way people on the train seem to be so open and okay with the idea of hugging him - and him indulging in that - that the way Tidus reacts during this moment of vulnerability is definitely embarrassing. Inigo feels like he is embarrassing himself here, anyway, and so his cheeks grow pink.
