She smiles gently, giving his arm a light squeeze. "Usually helps me," she says.

She can understand not wanting to cry in front of someone, though. She'd gotten to trying to save her tears for when she was alone.

"It doesn't have to be now, though. It can be whenever you're comfortable."

Hopefully he can catch her meaning though, that if he ever did feel like it, she wouldn't mind being a shoulder to cry on.
