"Hohhhh...bet tha' got 'xhausting," he drawls, raising his brows. "Th's train's huge! That's way too many people t' sort out!" But then again, there's a reason that's never been something people had him do.
The mention of pokemon battles is something that Katsuya can't help but liken to Duel Spirits though. He remembers thinking the same thing, when he saw them as real. But worse, wondering what would happen if they stopped. The monsters obviously enjoyed themselves. Lived for it, even. If they took that away...
Well beyond that. "...I think...it might work differen', even wherever she's from," he eventually says, a quiet tone in his voice. "Back 'n Alola...it w's like livin' in a cartoon, almos'. Where there wasn' anythin' wrong w' anythin'. Sure, tha' wasn't true but...even th' fights between pokemon, they weren't what fightin' animals looked like. I dunno how serious it gets anywhere else w' differen' pokemon, but where I was at least, th' weirdest thing was...no one got hurt. Not one got more than scrapes 'n such, an' more than tha', the pokemon themselves would be rarin' f'r th' fight first.
"Like watchin' someone grab a pair 'f foam swords, I guess. 'f things got serious, it could get serious, but a proper pokemon battle never felt that hard. More like a game, than anythin'."
Katsuya shakes himself, the ponyta pausing to look back as well. "Anyway...I ain't about t' force Kaseri int' somethin' she doesn' wanna be doin'. I think she likes runnin' around 'n makin' stuff float more, 'f y' ask me!" he laughs. "Worst case, I got 'er pokeball ready t' pull her int' safety!"
The blond pulls it out of his sweater pocket, the pink and purple thing shining slightly under the light of the room. A cute ball for a cute pony, apparently!
