Who: Tony + Varies
Where: Tony's lab and then the medical room
When: Early Grasshopper 3- Grasshopper 4
What: Between bad self-care and poor ventilation while working on specific chemicals, Tony passes out
Warnings: CW: Distress and medical stuff? Tony being Tony? Idk.
Notes: Tony's classes are going to be suspended for a couple weeks.

Grasshopper 3, The Incident [Narrative]
It'd been a rough few weeks. He'd made a decision to end his relationship with Ignis only to have the man disappear. He had to watch the man depart on platform day and hold his child as she mourned the loss. His other kid, Peter, was a mess with losing May and still not over Gwen leaving- not that he blamed the boy at all. Wei and his son leaving had been hard to watch too.

So, he coped as he always coped- by working. The pressure to find a cure for a boy who deserved to have his life back spurred him on as well. Working closely with Peter and sometimes Conan, he knew they were getting close. With just a little more coffee, a little more bourbon, he was sure they were going to get that breakthrough.

He'd woken up early and returned to his work. In a beaker, he added a chemical compound he'd created over the last few days and watched the reaction. He winced as the reaction kicked up an awful smell. Turning to write some notes, he felt the room start to spin. The coffee cup fell out of his hand and broke on the floor. Coughing, he couldn't catch his breath. Putting a hand to his chest, he felt pain lance through his body stemming from his heart. Just when he hit the floor, he didn't know but the world turned black.

The Rescue [Closed to Kitty, the Doctor, and whoever else she might need (medical people, idk?)]

When Kitty finds him, he's on the floor barely breathing. It's not quite a heart attack but the symptoms are really similar. A few of the coffee cup shards dug into his skin when he fell. He needs help and fast!

Grasshopper 3 (late) and Grasshopper 4, Medical Room [OTA]

He spent the majority of the day asleep. Slowly sometime that evening, Tony woke feeling weak and disoriented. He groaned finding himself in the medical room. That was never a good sign.

Dairine flinches at the sudden sound. Powers in a Bucket, maybe Neets was right about just confronting Stark and getting it over with. Being on edge for months clearly was having an effect on her.

...But deep down, she knows that Stark wouldn't remember any of the events that's left her so mad at him. So what'd be the point?

She turns her head and sees Kitty. Dairine blinks before raising a hand slightly in greeting.

"Uh, hi?" Wow, good job. She feels so very out of her element right now. Dairine could just leave it there, but she can help but add. "Funny question: did you see who opened these curtains?"

Kitty pauses a moment when she comes across Dairine.

"Oh, hi," she replies. She relaxes for just a moment, but the question has her pause a moment. "Curtains?"

As she looks around, she sees the other quiet rooms that were occupied. She'd noticed it was closed up before, but she could see now that the curtain was slightly drawn back. Feeling a little curious, she couldn't help stepping closer.

"I didn't," she answers after a moment, "but I'd think the only person who could move it would be - "

Her voice trails off as she takes a closer look inside, and suddenly she feels a knot in her stomach.

"...Mr. Stark?"

Dairine feels a drop in her stomach too, but for a very different reason.

"Are you kidding me?!" she exclaims, her face flitting between alarm and pained aggravation. The one person she's been avoiding! Why, Powers, why!

"So why couldn't I see him?" Dairine asks sourly. If she'd noticed the guy, she'd have booked it already. Dair's almost tempted to storm off now, but Kitty's tone gives her pause. "What's wrong?"

She steps closer to the room, trying to see better into the dark room. Maybe her eyes were playing tricks on her, and it wasn't what she thought.

But she already knows that she's not wrong, as she sees the still figure lying on the ground.

Turning to the other girl, she says, "Quick! Go get a healer, or someone from the medical car! And hurry!" She doesn't wait to see if Dairine listens to her, though, as she spins back around and phases through the wall of the room to get inside, quickly rushing over to where Tony lay.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Dairine shouts in alarm, but it's too late. The older... teen? she's gonna guess teen... has gone through the wall. This barely registers as odd to Dair after years of wizardry in her family.

Dairine rushes forward to the glass to look inside for what Kitty saw. Then goes pale when she spots the body on the floor.

Suddenly any grudges she held against Stark were drowned out in a torrent of adrenaline. No one's dying on her watch. No one's dying on her watch!

Dairine turns and dashes out to the carriage exit. This wizard might not be as good at healing spells, but at least she's fast. She also might not know the medical staff super well, so her instinct instead is to head straight for one adult she trusts to help.

But hey, he is a Doctor.

The Doctor happens to be in the medical carriage reading a magazine upside down, but don't worry about that. He looks up from his swivel chair as Dairine comes in and straightens up at the look on her face.

"Dairine?" He questions, worry leaking into his voice just a little. "What's wrong?"

She barges into the medical bay with the reckless abandon of someone who has no time to spare. Honestly, it'd be a miracle if Dairine noticed such an inconsequential thing in a situation like this.

"Stark," she gasps out between breathes. Running the whole way there had its downsides. "Stark's down. His lab."

Dairine grimaces. "Doesn't look good."

The look of concern doesn't leave his face, but he set the magazine to the side and stands up from his chair, pausing just a moment to pull his red waist coat on better and than heading towards the door.

"Lead the way." He gestures.

Dairine nods then sets off.

She doesn't run at full speed on the return trip... more so to recover from her earlier sprint than any worry about losing the Doctor. She trusts that he can keep up. Dairine does move quickly, and before long they're back in the quiet carriage.

"Here."

By the time the two have arrived back to the quiet carriage, Kitty had just finished dragging Tony out of his lab. At first she had been hesitant to really move him, especially without knowing what exactly had happened. But the air in the lab had been so thick and...wrong somehow, that she didn't feel comfortable leaving him inside, even with the door open to air out the enclosed area.

So as carefully as she could, she'd managed to lift him up just a bit to pull him out of the lab. Once she'd gotten him out, she was slowly setting him back down on the ground.

The Doctor follows after Dairine, keeping up with ease. He doesn't waste any time when he's on the scene, kneeling down next to Stark the moment he's able to and checking him over with the sonic.

"Oh Tony, what have you done to yourself?" He mutters mostly to himself as he puts the screw driver away and gently checks the man's eyes. "Right, Dairine, I need you to make the strongest black tea you've ever made in your life-if you think you've used to much you haven't used enough." He instructs, immediately taking charge.

"And you, I need you to go on ahead and make sure the cot's made up." He tells Kitty. "And no one, for any reason is to go into that room until I know exactly what happened. Probably some form of chemical reaction but it could be something else so until a diagnosis is made just block the room off."

Dairine grimaces when she sees Tony, part from Paradisa memories and part because... well, a closer look doesn't make his situation seem much better. Cripes, the man looks old like this. The wizard keeps a fair distance, shuffling in place while trying desperately to focus anywhere but Stark.

The Doctor's voice snaps her back into the moment. Dairine turns briefly to nod. "I'm on it."

And off she goes to the kitchen, ready to shove as many tea bags as she can fit into a mug.

"Right," Kitty says with a nod. Jumping to her feet, she takes a moment to reach in and close the door to the lab before hurrying to the medical car to get a cot ready.

The girls gone to do their task, the Doctor checks Tony's vitals another time before taking his arm and draping it over his shoulder to pull him up. The Doctor is a lot stronger than he looks but Tony Stark is still fully grown man so there's a bit of a struggle to be had.

"Alright Tony, let's get you to the medical carriage, hm?" He asks, not really expecting the man to respond as he hauls him in the correct direction.

"A good cuppa tea will do you wonders."
