Gladio gave Lea a puzzled glance before turning his attention to Xion. He kept his tone gentle when he spoke to her.

"If you wanna run away, I won't keep you here. But... if you want to sit and chat with me, I promise I'm not that bad once you get to know me." He tried for a smile, doing his best to be as reassuring as he could. Gladio would rather she didn't run away, but he couldn't just go and pin her to the chair and make her stay.
