At least she thinks so. Honestly, the 'Burrower' could be anything, with any agenda. But it feels ridiculous to question every little aspect of the mission she missed. It's over, things are done with. It wouldn't have mattered if it was a real god she could speak with or not, it's not as if they'll stop there again.
