Those are, quite frankly, the only times he ever uses the ICP besides occasionally responding to people on it. Webmind very kindly taught him how to use it and he still refuses just on principle. "Oh, it's also how you buy stuff. Someone taught me how to do that."

Has he made use of that knowledge? Absolutely not. Whatever he wants, he dreams. Part of Ronan is aware that Adam is probably going to want to do things the hard way, though, and will actually buy things from the shop. Points are variable and Ronan hasn't been able to figure out how, exactly, one gets points beyond doing chores and completing mission goals but he has some. The difficult part is going to be convincing Adam that he can use those points and Ronan isn't looking forward to that conversation. That's at least five steps away from the conversation they're currently having, though.
