What is up with this girl. What is up with this girl.
The question repeats itself inside of her mind like a mantra as she stares at Nike. But no, seriously, what is up with this girl? Alice has seen a lot of people back in London, and that gave her the idea that she had a pretty firm grasp on what most people were like. Selfish. Willing to step on others to get to where they want to be.
And yet here this is this new girl, seriously contemplating sleeping on the floor with only the worry about others holding her back from actually doing so.
".. You can just take a bunk." If she did insist on making Nike sleep on the floor, it'd kind of feel like she would be kicking a puppy at this point.. So Alice instead vaguely gestures at the bunk across from the one she's sitting on. "There are four people in this room, and four bunks. So there's no problem with you taking one."
Before Nike seems to think there might be. She seems awfully concerned with other people..
"And.. it's Alice. My name."
Since she'd prefer that over 'miss'. 'Miss' makes her feel so old.
