"Yeah, exactly! I mean it goes in waves. Especially here. I mean every platform is a trough, usually--because people are sad because they have friends leaving. I'm not even exempt from that. It happens to everyone. Some people handle it better, and some...don't."

He heaved a bit of a sigh. "Even I can't say I'm entirely altruistic about it--being an empath, it's hard to be around sad people all the time. It's why I try to be so silly and cheer people up. If they can't do it themselves, I gotta try to help somehow."
