Not to rain on a steam-powered parade, but running headlong into heroic acts isn't always as great as it sounds. It's a noble pursuit and one that should be done, don't get me wrong.

But looking at this group, I'd put decent odds on some of us never having been stuck in real mortal peril before and not having a realistic idea of what 'helping other worlds' might actually entail.
