None of it made any sense to Adam. It was a whirlwind of information without proper explanations. His head was spinning and it all reached a peak with people hunting dreamers. The idea of anyone hunting Ronan or any other dreamer made his blood run cold. What was there to gain from that? What purpose was there in hurting someone like Ronan? Even worse was the idea that there was very little Adam could do to stop people like that.

"You're going to have to explain some of that again," he said, his voice wavering a little, "Especially the part about people hunting dreamers." He couldn't offer an explanation for why he hadn't answered his phone; he hadn't been there, he hadn't lived through that moment. Which was a thought that made his head hurt, because how could he have not lived through it if Ronan had? What did that mean about how time worked? Had something happened to him that he didn't know about yet? Was that even possible?
