He almost looks a little surprised as the higgledy suddenly turns into multiple smaller ones - hence why he gathers them up in his arms almost in a panic when they start to hug him, like he's worrying he maybe already broke Roland's gift somehow. By not smiling well enough, or something like that.

But the same voice still resonating within him at least makes it clear that this still is Jumblie. Somehow. Pieces of her, maybe? Regardless of the answer, Inigo doesn't let go of the tiny creatures.

Not even when Roland moves over and starts wiping away his tears, though that does get him to glance back up at the other man.

"Ah, well, I.. I think so."

If she wants to be, he's tempted to say, but everything about the way the tiny balls of light are still trying to hug him and the connection shining like sunlight in his mind is saying that Jumblie very much does want to be friends.

"Were you.. um." He stops, his gaze turning a bit more awkward. But at the very least he's not turning it away from Roland's own now. ".. Did you think I don't smile enough?"

Jumblie seems very different from the higgledy he's seen around Roland, after all. And with what the other told him about Jumblie so far, Inigo can't help but wonder if that's why Roland decided to give him such a different one from his own.
