"Okay." She didn't know who Amira was, but from his words she guessed a cat of some kind.

Why she would want to curl up with a cat was beyond her but she nodded.

Everything about this makes her feel weird, and she has the urge to go off and hide, to be where things make sense, if just for a little while.
