Thankfully that may just be the one thing that saves Inigo here - Roland's lack of any sense of being subtle when it comes to these things. Of course even someone like Inigo is going to catch on when the other guy lays it on so thick.

So okay, he gets it. Tips are like.. what he gets paid? For his coffee? On top of the cost of the actual cup? It's rather mysterious, but Inigo would feel bad for not participating in the habits of Roland's culture, even if it's during this pretend exchange.

"Is that so.." He stares at the empty tip jaw for a moment, like he's thinking, sipping a bit more of his coffee.

It's really nice this time around, he thinks. But that makes him feel even more like he should be tipping here!

"Well.. I-- I don't have any money to offer you." Did he get it right? This is about money, is it. Weird modern money. Why can't people just still use gold. "But.. if you want, I could offer you my eternal friendship?"

Inigo smiles. So genuinely. Like he just really thinks this is what would fly in a modern world - an open offer of friendship. The best tip of all.
