Adam Parrish | OTA

a. Platform

Things had not been good the last few weeks, mostly because he'd been kidnapped. Today? Today things were even worse. Seeing Ronan walk off the train without a second glance was the last thing Adam expected. He chased after him, tried to snag him by the sleeve, called his name, but Ronan didn't acknowledge him. Eventually, Adam was left standing there, staring at the place where Ronan had walked out of sight.

He clenched his hands and swallowed thickly, but he was not going to cry. Instead, his mouth was twisted into a frown and there was a wrinkle between his eyebrows. He knew this kind of thing happened on the train, but he hadn't thought it would happen with Ronan. Adam didn't even know where people went when they disappeared. It could be home, it could be somewhere worse. If it was home...home was even more dangerous than the train, and he wouldn't be there to help.

Pushing down his emotions, he took a deep breath and scrubbed a hand through his hair. He wasn't sure how he felt, how upset he really was. He could gauge it later, when he had some privacy, or at least wasn't standing out on the platform.

b. On The Train

His mood hadn't improved, and he was starting to think he was quite upset. Things had been more manageable because he hadn't been the only one from home. There had been a familiar face in the sea of strangers. He was used to doing things on his own, but for a little while, he'd almost gotten used to being part of a unit.

Finishing off the last of his cup of tea, he got up from where he was sat in the common carriage, bumping right into someone he hadn't noticed walking by. Luckily, he didn't drop his cup, and he quickly apologized.

"I'm sorry; I didn't see you. I'm-- having an off day," he admitted.

c. Wildcard

[ooc: feel free to run into him elsewhere around the train! He's usually about just around everywhere, especially the library and garden cars.]
