"Oh?" Gen asked, not alarmed at all since it was clearly Senku who'd grabbed him, with a bribe. He took the cola and Senku's hand both, squeezing Senku's fingers fondly, even as he rolled his eyes.

"You're plying me with treats very early, my darling," Gen teased, "so I don't believe I'll like the project you'll propose. What do you have in mind?"

When Senku let go of his hand, he was free to take the Arms Band back. It was both of theirs, really, and he found a lot of things he thought Senku would find useful on the last mission, before everything went completely to hell.
