I. Platform
He decides to go outside for some fresh air. It has been a while. For him, it was two months ago, it sure felt like yesterday.

But he's different now than he was before. He's more confident despite being blind. With a bamboo stick in hand, he can find his way through the train with ease and with less assistance from others, but he asks for help every now and then. He recognizes the voices of others.

It's tempting for him to cross the boundary with the others leaving through the fog. He has figured if he joins them to leave, he'll return back. Back to the darkness, to the point of no return. But the feeling is no longer there anymore, he realized. Because he has someone to return to.

Speaking to someone close-by, it doesn't matter who, because he trusts everyone now freely to those who listen, "I'll return back on the train to board. Don't worry about me. I'm out for fresh air."
