The Inquisitor didn't get far, whether that was because of the barriers, or what. She did, at least, get into the thick fog enough to 'take cover', kneeling down on the ground to wind the straps of the backpack firmly around her left arm's substitute.
It wasn't a shield, but the weight and mass could be useful in a pinch.
Just going to... tie this off here, one strap in her clenched teeth as her damaged remaining hand tried to form a knot. Gloved, at least the damage wasn't as visible, but it did poorly at gripping things smaller than the hilt of a weapon with any finesse or force.
