Notably, there wasn't one on his wrist, there may be a reason he may have heard a lot about that in the last couple of days. "It works for communication like a-" Senku paused. The phone reference might not work.
"If you talk into it when we're off the train, you'll hear other people answer you. It works like the speakers in the cars. You can call other cars with it to talk to people. We're not all speaking the same language either, I can tell you the SCA does the translating when we're out of the train and the train, or something on it, does the translating when we're here."
