He feels his cheeks being warm in embarrassment from showing so much affection in such an open place. But he can't help that he feels so happy to see the man. He looks up at him, smiling as brightly as his face is capable of doing.

"I didn't realize we would be reunited so soon but it still seems like it has been too long."

Perhaps if they had been left on their own world he would have had to wait much longer. And if that is the case then he is grateful for being brought into this one so that he doesn't have to endure such a long separation.
