Another platform day, another set of new people to greet and explain what they knew. Which was sadly very little but it had to be done. It was easier that way.
47 spotted the one new red team member easily seeing as she was still on the move as his eyes roamed across the platform when he first stepped off the train. He watched her for a moment to figure out what she was up to. It didn't take him long to figure it out. Her reaction to the train was certainly...different.
Most acted indifferent or stared at it in awe if they'd never seen one before. This reaction was much more animated than that. He supposed it couldn't be helped. He didn't have the imagination for what it would be like to be in her position--or the emotional capacity--but everyone acted in predictable ways based on a number of certain factors and this seemed acceptable for someone with no knowledge of a locomotive.
He kept his eye on her but did not approach her until others had managed to calm her down. Then he found her later, as she finally got the nerve to get closer to the train, perhaps just before she boarded it.
"Overwhelming, isn't it?" he asked almost casually. His demeanor was stoic though his posture was relaxed at least. He wore a red hoodie, same as her.
platform. wildcardish.
