Rich follows his guidance and does manage to sit down, though he seems intent to look anywhere but at Devero, his face tight with fear.

That's what I have implanted in my brain. It's a supercomputer. Supposed to tell you what to do. But mine's turned off now. It... I think it is, anyways."
He rambles all of this off as fast as he can, before the older man can stop him and laugh at him or something.
