Koumyou takes the sutra back, and sets it in his lap. He still has the damp cloth from before, so he folds it over so that the clean side is out, and offers it over in return.

"Just be you," the priest says gently, "that's all I need from you. You're so clever and kind, and I don't know the whole of what you've endured, but... I think you're amazing."
