Koumyou Sanzo had single-handedly protected the dual concepts of yin and yang, for over twenty years.

"The last two, I've never laid eyes on. Kouten is supposed to hold dominion over... protection, I think? If Maten can push back the darkness, Kouten could hold it there. And Uten, I know the least about. Logically, I suspect it can push the light back, like Maten can the darkness. Too much of either is bad."
