Devero sticks his hands in his back pockets and bobs his head. "I'll keep that in mind," he says. "Discipline knows I'm no expert on tech." Not for lack of interest on his part, but he'd ended up in the World Guard instead of university; he considers himself no more than a hobbyist.

Whether or not that's an accurate reflection of his tech abilities remains to be seen.
