"That it is," Alley gives the mace a flip, catching the hilt neatly in her palm again with a satisfying slap. It fits there, just right.

She sets it aside just long enough to stuff anything that had fallen out of the bag, back into it. Slings it onto her back again.

Lifts the mace and straightens up, then uses it to point at the train.

"I suppose I have to get on that thing?"

She hasn't seen any other options. Staying in one place has never even occurred to her.
