Inigo doesn't avert his gaze, despite his shyness. Despite it only growing stronger the longer he looks at Tidus - when he sees the other smiling back at him like that, and then saying those words. Despite the teasing edge to them, Inigo feels butterflies twirling around inside of his stomach all the same, and it's taking pretty much everything he's got to not hide his face by burying it against his legs.

One day he might learn how to deal with praise, especially coming from the people who mean the most to him. But today is not that day.
